on tap-pours a rich light tan head that laces and copper color. Aroma is mild pine hops, secondary medium malt which becomes more noticeable as it warms. Taste is resin/citrus-orange hops, sweet medium malt-roasty/brown sugar, alcohol comes through but not over powering.

750 c&c from Oak Tree. Cork so tight it tore. Needed to use cork screw on the stub. Pours copper amber with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Principal aroma is grapefruit rind, but some roast caramel hints are there. Full bodied with nearly creamy carbonation. Flavor is floral and grapefruit rind accompanied by some roast malt. This hop is strong. It clings and burns. Not even getting any heat. Then the malt sweet sort of shows up. And is washed out by the grapefruit. Damned fine ale.

Bottle… Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is bursting-at-the-seams with fruity, earthy, spicy hops – lots of fuzzy fruits. Medium-bodied and creamy with airy carbonation. The flavor is mainly of fruity apricot bitterness. Finishes heavily bitter. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

22oz bottle. Poured a deeper and hazy amber color with a huge sized, frothy, off white head. Lacing left on the glass. Aromas of pine, floral hops, some earthiness, and some tropical fruitiness. Tastes of the same tropical fruits, citrus, floral hops, and some caramel. Chewy body with light to medium alcohol in the finish (but I would not have guessed 11%+).

An amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth pinhey hops with light Belgian yeasts, fruity esters, quite nice. In mouth, smooth pinhey hops with pink grapefruits, light funk, very well done. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Hazy orange pour with a thick white head. The nose is quite sweet and syrups. A little bit of orange citrusy hops, some grapefruit and a pronounced booziness in the aroma. Rick flavour with a lot more pine than was noticable in the nose. Sweet hops. The beer is a whole lot sweeter than I like with a lingering cloying honeyish sweetness, despite the ample hopping.
