The aroma is the best part, taste doesn’t blend well, strong carbonation, raspberry flavor, meh

Mild tart raspberry aroma, pours amber with a hint of red, with a huge white head. The raspberry flavor is very pronounced with just a touch of pepper notes in the finish. I’m not picking up much of the lemon, but it may be blending into the raspberry tartness. Light bodied and easy drinking. Personally, the fruit notes are a bit too strong for my tastes, overpowering the saison underneath. If you like fruitier beers, this may be more up your alley.

Taster at beer event. Pours cloudy maroon/orange with a bit of white head. Aroma is raspberry, cotton candy. Taste is sweet (slightly cloying) and pronounced raspberry. I wish the pepper had been more notable. Some of the lemon coming through but not enough to push aside the raspberry. I liked the sweetness but would’ve benefited more from a better balance.

Draft. Nice raspberry aroma, and a nice fruit tartness to the flavor. Does not taste as strong as advertised. betty refreshing summer beer. I liked it!

Not bad, really. The tart raspberry makes it taste more like an old Bartles & Jaymes wine cooler rather than a beer. Okay for a change of pace on a hot day.

Sampled at Philly fest. Nice tart notes with hints of lemon, spice, honey and berry. Not bad

4oz pour at the Fare. Aroma is raspberry, cranberry, lemon square, and hay. Pours light pink with soda bubbles and very little head. Taste is faint raspberry but definitely sweet raspberry, lemon zest, and a grainy yeast finish. Very light on the mouth, which is good. Tastes like they watered down some obnoxiously sweet bug juice with a mediocre saison. Not my favorite but there is certainly a time and place.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2014 What an unusual beer. It seemed like a good idea at first, but maybe if it were an organic fruit juice. Thin bodied and sugary. A unique blend of fruit, alcohol and malt. Strawberry, raspberry, cherry. It?s just too sweet.

Sampled at AC Beerfest (2014). Poured a clear amber color with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of tart funky artificial raspberries. Taste of tart artificial raspberries, mild funk, toasted malt, and nail polish remover.

Smells like raspberry jam. Golden reddish color with a fluffy head that deflated quickly. Raspberry is up front on the tongue but it finishes dry and wine-like. I like it but it doesn't really satisfy that beer craving.
