750mL bottle, thanks to fata2683, thanks Keith! Pours hazy pink/orange, thin persistent white head, lacing is spotty to good. Nose is tart raspberry, wheat, white pepper, spice, very nice and soft and dry. I’m impressed that this REALLY smells like raspberries, and yet the Saison character underneath still manages to come through a bit, showing pepper and citrus notes. Flavours are tart, with nice berries and wheat, at the same time, redolently juicy, with raspberries, and lightly tart and dry towards the finish. Extremely pleasant, reminds me of the Unibroue Ephemere brews.

Pours hazy red with no head. Strong rasberry aroma with strong sour notes of fruit and yeast. It tastes very nice and fruity bit it tastes like it is trying to be a saison. It’s not bad but a little stuck between styles. Sweet and sour. Not bad. Not great.

750 ml bottle courtesy of fata.. Thanks. Pours a hazy amber color with a big white head that soon recedes to 1/4 inch and holds. The aroma is big and bold with fresh raspberries. The taste is a bit of a let-down compared to the aroma, there are raspberries (however they are watered down) and some sour notes. The palate is a bit thin, the carbonation is lively. Finishes long with lingering chemical fruits. Overall: Nice aroma, but the flavor lacks the lushness that I expected.

Pours golden amber with a thick white head. Decent lacing. Aroma has some pepper and raspberry But not sweet...unique! Definite raspberry in the Flavor but it dominates any other flavors. Mouthfeel has some silkiness but thins out In the finish.

In short: A tart raspberry beer with a crisp wheat-like malt base. Sharp and refreshing.
How: Pre-BCTC 2010 warm-up tasting. Fresh bottle, consumed soon after the beer release
The look: Cloudy golden-orange body topped by a persistent small off-white head
In long: Nose has plenty of raspberries but it’s not like fresh juicy tart raspberries. It is more like raspberry seeds. Taste is very sharp, a bit too much so. Raspberry seeds, crackers, rustic yeast notes, acidity. Finish is acidic and tart. Feels a bit like a raspberry wheat beer. Very refreshing. Carbonation is a bit too strong. A fun beer even if a bit too aggressive for the style. Space monkeys are cool. I think we should train monkeys to fly planes so people would stop worrying about hijackers and terrorists because they’d be too worried about monkeys flying the plane.

BCTC. Thanks to whoever brought this. Orange with lasting head and lace. Straight up raspberry aroma. Raspberry jam and honey with mild tart dry finish. Pretty good.

750 ml bottle shared at BCTC 2010. Pours a golden amber with a violet tinge and a foamy short lived head. Aroma is mineral tart light raspberry and raspberry seed, light toast, cherry pit phenolic yeast and light plastic note. Flavor is moderately sweet upfront from a honey sweet malt profile, then gets a slight oily slick and has a tart finish- still more phenols all the way around with plastic, dusty crackery, pitty raspberry seed, metallic hints from the seeds, which leads to a thin slightly astringent finish. Not really impressed.

Super carbonated. Tons of fizz. Fruit. Raspberries are present but don’t dominate. Light Saison. Decent.

Had this while camping at BCTC this year. Pours an orange amber with a gentle rouge hue to it under a medium sized white head. Fuzzy raspberry, hay, a bit of vanilla. Light raspberry flavors, a bit of tartness, a touch of tanginess. Tangy wheat and raspberry. Tasty.
