ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark Apr 30, 2008 Updated: May 1, 2008 Irma, Odense. Hazy golden. No head. nice enough fermented apple aroma. Rather sweet flavour. When I have fermented supermarket apple juice on homebrew beer yeast I get the same impression and that can’t be a good sign...
trapez (168), Hilleroed, Denmark Jun 2, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Aroma dried apple, wood and a bit of yeast. Colour hazy golden yellow with small white head. Taste dry (stated semi-dry) with an elegant finiish of sweet apples. Perfect soft carbonation. Too expensive, but clearly above average ciders. Grovlam (2915), Copenhagen, Denmark May 27, 2008 Bottle. Huge fin bubbled off-white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy very sparkling body with a lovely golden color. Aroma of yeast, vinegar, apple and fresh apple, barnyard like notes with a hint of what appeared as rubber like notes. Over the palate came also notes of citrus and mild fruity notes. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation and dry texture. Moderated acidic and sweet flavor. Lingering and dry acidic apple finish. Best Danish cider so far. KimJohansen (2460), Copenhagen V, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 Clear golden with tiny head. Dry and slightly sour aroma with apple and wood notes. Dry fruity flavor with apple and woody notes. thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark Apr 10, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Very hazy yellow - bordering on orange. A medium, very fizzy off white head. Looks very sparkly. Aroma of apples, some slight pineapple and light woodiness. Okay carbonation, not as sparkly as it looks. Flavour is dryish, very sweet, light apples. Well, this is alright, not nearly as nice as the brut, though.
