375ml bottle. Golden body with a disappearing white head. Mild, but nice aroma of apples, some cellar notes. Flavor feels both dry and sweet, matured apples and a nice level of acidity. This one has a nice flavor, maybe a bit short on aftertaste, but very refreshing.

Bottle, 375ml corked, 2010 vintage. It’s a clear, golden cider with some bubbles on top. Slightly sparkling. The aroma has a solid dose of apples, some orchard and a faint touch of sulphur. The flavor has a faint touch of acetone towards the finish, but is mostly overpowered by the apples, luckily. Anyway, it’s a quite pleasant cider, would go nice with some pork chops I guess. 120124

0.375l corked bottle. A near clear yellow golden cider with no head what so ever. Mild apply with hints of sweet, light dusty and some wood hints in the aroma. Nice. Soft to average carbonation levels and it feels quite mouthdrying. Apply flavors also with a tad of sweetness and a mystique herbal hint looong way back in the dry aftertaste. Absolutely drinkable as a cider.

2008 edition
Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet, wood, sugar scent. Sweet, very sugary taste. Dry aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel, no bitterness.
Inital taste is just too sweet.

Bottle, from Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter. Slightly hazy honey-hued body with a tiny swirl of a head, which vanishes quickly. Nose is yeasty apple tones, hints of wood and straw. OK. Taste is yellow apples, straw and semi-floral hints of wood. Nicely balanced sweetness and a rather refreshing mouthfeel. Pretty nice, all in all, but no superhero cider.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2012 375 ml green "champagne" bottle, vintage 2010, from Vinmonopolet. Organic. ABV is 4.7%. A dead insect under the cork, charming ... Yellow colour, slightly hazy, pours very fizzy with a large white head that soon disappears completely. Unfresh aroma of stale cider apples, notes of oak, hints of ammonium and alcohol. The flavour is somewhat better than the aroma, notes of oxidised and stale cider apples and sweet eating apples - drinkable, but not as crisp and fresh as I hoped. Won’t buy again.
