Bottle. It pours a clear, brown body under a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the malty side, with roasted and chocolatey notes beneath. Not much hoppyness going on. The flavor is mostly roasted, with some underlying coffee and roasted malt. A touch of dried fruits blend in, becoming stronger towards the end. Medium body, quite dry. Nice bitterness in the end, both roasted and hoppy. Overall, a quite ordinary one, but not bad in any way. 120217

On draught at Zeughauskeller. This brew pours dark brown with some reddish highlights around the edges. Medium foamy off-white head that evaporates slowly, and sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and a touch of hops. The finish is malty with a slightly metallic hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottled from some supermarket in Switserland, BB 07-11-2008. Very dark brown coloured, initially large light brown head. Malty and somewhat sour nose. Flavour of malts and liquorice, sour at first but more bitter in finish. Unbalanced and unpleasant brew.
