COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Well, let’s do this. Tap. Actually an okay lager from tap, but really nothing exciting. Nothing off, balance is okay, but it is terribly boring and on the watery side.

500 ml can from Zürich airport. Clear golden yellow with some head, lots of lacing. Faint but pleasant taste. Would feel better overall if I was used to Swiss prices.

Can. Bought at coop in ascona. Ok, drinkable brew with timid hops, short malty taste and generic pilsener feel to it.

No sabe a nada Medium bitterness, slightly malty, slightly soapy, grainy and corn. Mouthfeel: Light body, fizzy and crisp. Overall: Nothing exciting I’m afraid.

330ml Bottle: Appearance: Clear, straw colour with persistent white head. Good lacing. Aroma: Fruity, grainy, slight grassiness. Taste: Sweet, fruity and crisp. Low to medium bitterness and slightly metallic. Mouthfeel: Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Ends sweet. Overall: A standard lager, easy drinking. Would prefer a dryer finish and more hop aroma.

Clear yellow-golden color with fast disappearing foam layer. Very thin malty smell. The taste is as one would expect from a pale lager. Malty character with a not so bad hopping in the finish. This beer is no revelation, but it’s solid for a cold beverage on a train.

500ml on-tap at Zum Schiefen Eck, Basel (7.60 CHF):
A cheap, pretty average marco pale lager that was inoffensive & drinkable without ever seeming to be enjoyable or memorable. There was some basic lager type flavours with corn, grains & a few grassy hops present but beyond that there wasn’t much of anything going on & it wasn’t exactly the best introduction to Swiss beer but at least they can’t all be this bad.

500 ml can. Grass smell with some notes of wheat. Golden look with white head. Taste actually has character and is better than the average lager. Feels good in your mouth, doesn’t burn, and makes you want to drink more :) pretty good cheap lager!

0,33l Flasche. Hellgelb. Süßlich getreidiger Hopfenduft. Antrunk metallisch, herb, etwas flach. Langweiliges Bier.
