1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2004
Butter-like aroma. Sweet and weak brew. Rather carbonated. Some malty notes around the palate and finish.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - AUG 25, 2003
Splügen Quinto, <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrew />The label says: "Rich, deep, natural and with a full and pleasant taste, this new beer by Splügen, unfiltered, is brewed with 5 fine cereals: Wheat, Barley, Oats, Rye, Spelt."
Cloudy blond color. Light wheat aroma, paper, corn. Thin mouthfeel, not enough characteristic. Ordinary finish, just more bitter than the average.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ungstrup (23975) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 21, 2003
A slightly hazy orange beer with a small and fast disappearing head. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a hint of menthol. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with notes of oranges. It ends on a slight bitterness, that prickles the tongue. A very watery beer.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 CEZ (391) - Milano, ITALY - JUN 17, 2003
Nice, deep golden color; good head. A friend of mine liked the full malty aroma. What I didn't like was the absence of a real taste. Very little trace of hops; almost non-existent bitterness. Watery, drinkable, forgettable.

Pale and somewhat hazy. Medium bodied, complex malt character, low bitterness.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2003 Splügen Quinto, Poretti
hazy orange colour, few foam, grain and peanuts aroma, light fruity notes, medium-bodied, sweet and dry with a light bitterness - not bad (6/4/6/3/12) / I'm quite surprised that this is the same beer as the swiss one.
Feldschlösschen Quinto:cloudy orange colour, few head, poor nose with grain and malt, notes of peanuts, medium malt body, sweet and boring, moderate malty finish - Feldschlösschen worked really hard to produce a 5 grain beer without any character; great work ...
