3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
16.9-oz. bottle. Pours hazy bronze with a small off-white head that mostly stays througout, with thick creamy lacing. Oak and apple, wine fruity hop and light caramel light malt aroma, most pleasant and inviting. Oak and yeasty apple, grape wine-like flavor, smooth and light malt. Medium and creamy smooth, slightly fizzy, clean palate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Amber coloured, medium-sized beige loose head; moderate, but distinctive malty and hoppy nose, accompanied by nuts and fruits; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; increasing dryness in the bitter-malty, slightly nutty finish. Good session beer.....

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle... Lightly hazy, bright amber ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. The nose is mildly malty and very fruity with notes of peach, mango, sweat and avacado. The decently balanced flavor is sweet and lightly fruity... it mirrors the aroma to a lesser degree. Medium-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. Short, dry finish. Pretty damn good for a mild/bitter.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. A gingery brown colourd beer with no head. The aroma is fruity with some metallic elements. The taste is fruity with alittle toffee mixed in. Obviously a dead product and quite unbalanced in that there is no obvious hop at all.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(can, from pivnizub) Clear, dark amber colour with a fluffy beige foam, leaving some lace. Sweet malty and fruity (green apples) nose with caramel and liquorice. Bitter and slightly sour-fruity flavour, light bodied, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Malty and apple-fruity taste with light notes of caramel; moderately dry, bitter and fruity finish. Unexciting.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
amber pour. Aroma has some light hops mixed with caramel malt and crackers. Flavors include light hops, medium malt and finishes slightly bitter. This style eludes me. Have had very few I would ever drink again.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Didn’t smell like a bitter too me...Pitched way too high and notes of acedehylde. A brewing mistake. Pours with a large, hazy off-white head, and a copper body with good lace. Aroma of apples (acedehydle), candi sugar, fruity esters graham cracker, grand manier and cidery. What a mess for an english style bitter. Taste is completely different (thank god). Grainy, malty and slightly bitter. Fizzy and dry moutfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a well balanced beer with a oily hops bitterness and sourness to finish. Surprisingly good.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml can (someone bought it for me - honest). Basic amber colour. Some dry malt in the aroma, but the eggy sulphur and rubber is too intrusive to allow the nuances to develop. On the palate, however, it is refreshingly clean, with subtle fruit and piquant hops in the background. Finish is quite tart but, unfortunately,, the slight metallic aftertaste cannot be overlooked. No doubt it would score better in cask. I can't see how this is a Scottish Ale in either in style or geography - it is a best bitter in my book. Overall, surprisingly drinkable for a tinned beer. And I managed to complete the review without cracking any "feeling foul" puns.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle, bought somewhere in South Wales. Clear amber colour, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of caramel and citrus hops. Medium-bodied, malty, hints of roasted malt, caramel and citrusy hop flavours, shy hints of walnut. Well-balanced.
