1,5 liter magnum bottle, 2004 vintage sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Hazy reddish orange with some floaters and a dense beige head. Lovely complex aroma with cellar notes, mould, overripe apples, yeast, caramel and some acid. Flavor is complex as well, fruity acidity, overripe fruit, sweet caramel malt, light grapefruit and cellar notes. Delicious and quite quaffable actually.

Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, quite stable beige head, visible carbonation; a faint touch of balsamico in the sweetish-sourish and caramelly nose; sweet and sour flavour, light bodied; sweet caramalt and a kind of very old vinegar in the short finish. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all pleasant.........

From a 2004 vintage magnum bottle@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Low beige head. Orangey brown body. Fresh, light acidic fruit aroma. Mouldy, cellary with yeast notes and touch of apple skin. Taste is acid-sweet and tangy, quite fruity, with a certain sweetness underneath. Lively in the mouth. Filling. A fine, sourish fruit finish. Very good.

(Bottle, BBE 15-02-08, at Plan B, Copenhagen, on 2009-09-15 -- thank you KimJohansen for pointing this one out) Deep red and clear. Small lightly tan coloured head. Sourness, roastedness, raisin and sweetness in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, sourness, raisin, bitterness, berriness and lightly roastedness in taste. Sourness and berriness in afertaste. I really did enjoy this one.
