COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it’s better to be thoroughly sure. A dry, bitter finish complements the spicy hop character of this full flavoured and well balanced best bitter.

Cask (gravity dispense). Beer #7 at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival on 21 January 2011. Amber colour. Something not quite right here. Green apple and moist, worty malt suggested this wasn’t in top nick. A shame because this was my first sighting of this new brewery. Flagged for re-rate. Default score in the meantime.

Gravicask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2010)
Mid orange, loose head. Mildly lactic aroma, but mostly grainy. Slightly sweet, shrooms, minerally taste. Palate drying and acidic perhaps, chemical. Felt that there was a good beer behind the flaws, though, and rated it a little charitably.
