pours a cloudy golden-orange colour under a little white foam; correct lace; solid aroma of ripe bananas; lot of carbonation and a moderate malt body; some initial sweetness followed by some tartness, slightly sourish; long fizzy and a bit cloying banana finish

swing top bottle (500ml). -Trade with Allen (thanks Julian!). Yellow/orange coloured, medium to big sized white head, fruity wheaty nose. Mild malty, yeasty and wheaty with citrusy and banana notes. Touch of cloves in the finish. Just ordinary weizen.

Poured a lovely yellow-orange body, murky, witha big white, relatively thick head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is just as great, banana, herbs, some bubblegum and quite pleasant and pungent. The taste, however, is the ultimate letdown. The banana pops up again, being nice but then is cut short by an invasive dry finish. Yeah, some herbal notes pop up in there, cloves being more genuine than in the last 20 beers whose reviews I mentioned cloves in. Still, it gets cut off, along with the bubblegum and some lactic notes, by a quick bitter finish. Too dry to be refreshing, the taste is cut short to be pleasant. Overall, after the presentation, a disappointment. Ah well.

Hazy deep blond color; big head. It has aroma of chewing-gum, lemonade and wheat. Poor flavor of a common Wheat Ale, with light wheat traces and even without a classic spicy side. Boring.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of wheat and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks omhper for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of omhper. Hazy golden with a dense, tall and stable white head. Lightly tart aroma with citrus and yeast. Slightly watery body, notes of citrus, banana and yeast. Has a light tartness in the finish. 051008

Bottled 50cl. It pours a murky golden beer with a tall white head. Nice aroma with all the Weizenbier attributes accompanied by a hint of nasturcium, nutmeg and carrots. Pleasant taste. Sweet. Medium bodied. Very slight sourness. Not much lacework. This beer gets slightly cloying after a few sips. Some glue sneaking in just before the finish which has quite a lot of residual sugars. A pretty good Hefeweizen.

Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Hazy yellow colour, small head. Aroma is wheat, hops, malts and some mild spicyness. Flavour is wheat, spices and some slight caramel malts. Also mild fruits.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2008 Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy golden, small lively head. Appley nose with some mustard and slight banana. Medium sweet with clean, spritzy mouthfeel and notes of apple candy. Quite refreshing.

Hazy yellow with large white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with fruity and wheaty notes. Sweet yea ty flavour with wheat and banana notes. Ends sweet.
