Although this is labelled "Dunkles Spezialbier" ("dark premium lager"), in fact it looks like an Alt and tastes like an Alt spiced with lemon juice .... the points I am giving are therefore rather due to the classy bottle and label as well as acknowledgment to the efforts the brewer has spent the last decade ... however there is room to improve on the brew itself ...

Brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with bread, grain and caramel. Sweet and malty flavour

Bottle. Deep amber with a medium off white head. The aroma is caramel and light fruit. The flavour is light yeasty, light fruity with some caramel

Dark amber colored, medium sized light brown head. Aroma is weird and interesting with some christmas spices and earthy zwickel notes, also some cardboard here. Flavor has same spices with this earthy tone, dryness and cardboard comes strongly up in aftertaste. Mild toffee in aroma. Interesting combination of zwickel and dunkel.
