Bottle. Light amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel, faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel, faint hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light roasted malt, some caramel and light hoppyness. OK lightly sweetish märzen with caramel - that’s it.

It’s dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, flower and malt. The moderately sweet flavor has notes of caramel, straw, malt, flower and the finish is dry - quite nice.

Best before mid-March, 2011. Lovely light orange color, really nicely sustained carbonation. Malty aroma!! (earth, fresh baked bread, a little cooked vegetable, also a slight dusty hop presence, a little flowery). Flavor bready, bready, earthy - moderate sweetness, light bitterness, a very malty beer. Delicate, that’s for sure, but not from hoppiness like some German pils are...

Chestnut brown color with a flat, but nice head. The smell is malty, sweet and pleasantly spicy, nutty. The flavor is nutty, malty, very meaty, subtly sweet in the background. The aftertaste shows again dominant malty, subtle roasty sweet.

(screw cap bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Sweet toast-malty and slightly nutty aroma with notes of caramel and shy herbal hops. Sweet flavour with a faint bitterness, medium to light bodied with a crispy carbonation. Toasty caramelly and slightly nutty taste; sweet-bitter, slightly nutty finish. Likeable. 15.X.08

Screw-cap bottle: Amber coloured, small and stable white head; nutty-spicy nose; quite solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; nutty-malty, light sourish finish. Quite a good Märzen..........
