Bottled from Mris Wines Deep golden with a small head. Pretty sweet and malty aroma. Toffeeish flavour. Some wood and/or sap. Really malty with a low bitterness.

A Sim rate (bottle thanks to Leighton): Aroma is a yeasty fruity mess. It’s very German. Woody. Flavour is a sharp wood. Bitter and a bit of a messy finish.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with faint film. Wheat, German yeast aroma. Some hard bread. Lightly sweet, yeasty, some banana, orange and clove. Light bodied with very soft carbonation. Bready, yeasty finish, with some very light citrusy bitters. Like no bitter I’ve ever had. Interesting.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear amber beer, little suddy head that dies off quickly. Light but fairly dry palate. Dry even malt - fresh. Light tangy orange hops. A touch of banana in the finish and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Fresh bitter!
