Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Chelmsford BF. A very dark brown almost black coloured beer. The aroma has some sweet and sour fruitiness. The taste also has these qualitles. Easy to quaff.

Cask@Chelmsford Beer Festival. Was expecting good things, but was left a little dissapoinyed. Some subtle roast and chocolate. Acidic bitterness to finish. Sulfuric edge.

Cask conditioned Chelmsford beer festival, 2006. A dark black mild with reddish hues in the light. Fruity and muddy mild with berry juice. Strong mild.

Bottle conditioned. Very dark brown with some ruby, and a thick tan head. Aroma has roasted malts, coffee and some fruit in the background. I like it, but I’m not sure it’s a mild. Fruity and malty with some quite bitter hops in the finish. Medium mouthfeel, quite highly carbonated.

Gravity At The East Anglian Beer Festival 05.Black in colour with no head,aroma is of hops and alcohol,taste is quite fruity with some blackcurrant,dry finish.
