A Mes rate. Gravicask at Pigs Ear. Love black body with a tan topping. Slight pukey malt and chlorine in the aroma does not live up to what I expect from Felstar. Thankfully the flavour is much better. Excellent fruit and light smoke with a really good level of sweetness. Nicely dry and really enjoyable blackcurrant finish with some late chocolate. Excellent stuff other than the aroma

2nd December 2008. Clear dark brown red beer. Sweet lactose and soft toffee - caramel stout. No dryness or bitterness. Rich tangy chocolate too! A very quaffable stout!

Black color. Interesting aroma, caramel, light leather and cheese. Smooth chocolate malt flavor, malt. Good.

Cask stillage, Pigs Ear 2008. Coca cola color. Smoke, dark sweet fruit. Very fine balance between sweetness, dryness and smoke. A little yeasty palate.
