Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig & Pen, Northampton. An amber coloured beer with a lively whitish head and lots of lace. The aroma is sweet and fruity, with some cleaning products. The taste is more of the same but all in all presentable.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2007
500ml bottle from brewery stand at Ely market. Russet/copper colour with thick lasting beige head. Quelle surprise, it’s a rubbery aroma like virtually all the beers I bought that day from Fenland. Beneath this is a slightly watery malty fruity best bitter. They really have to sort their bottling out. Worst batch of beers I’ve had. this is rubbery, smoked and nasty.

A light ruby coloured ale with a rich malty fruit nose leading to an impressive fruit taste. This was quite an interesting ale.
