Cask@GBBF2007. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is wooden, caramelly and slightly fruitish hoppy. Flavour is wooden, roasted, slightly leathery and some sourish notes. Dry grassy bittery aftertaste.

A Mes rate:
Gravicask at GBBF. Murky amber colour. Sickly, pukey aroma with some barely detectable malt underneath. Peaty and earthy flavour with a bitter finish.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig and Pen Northampton. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is a nice balance of malt and hop with some smoky character. The taste also has that smokiness together with a reasonable bitterness. Interesting and tasty.

Bottle condition BBE March 2007. Hazy copper colour with lasting off white head. Plastic/rubber hop/yeasty aroma. Some fruity malt. Decent bitter, but the plastic just dominates too much.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2006
Deep amber, slightly murky specimen. Bitter but syrupy. Far too much alcohol-sodden fruit for an ale of the ABV. Lifeless, run-of-the-mill IPA with an unpleasantly lingering bitterness. Draught pint at The Merchant.
