3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Clear golden with an off-white head. Fresh citrusy nose - almost perfumy. Medium body, a little sweet fruitiness and again lots of fresh citrus. Dry and hoppy finish. Very decent - certainly has the hops, but perhaps not much more than an APA. 150311

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2013 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium, slightly off white head. Aromas of fresh fruits, hops, citrus and a little bit of dank. On the sweeter side of things for sure. An almost oily, sort of resinous mouth feel. Taste is a fair bit different to the aroma. Mainly a big hit of piney hop resin in there giving way to a big bitter finish that lingers and lingers. Has a rather inviting sweet malt backbone throughout the beer and lots of over ripe fruits that come into play. Very enjoyable. An amazing all rounded IPA. For the price, itís a go to beer for the weekends

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a 330ml bottle on 19/1/2011. Pours golden orange with a substantial head. Has a lovely, powerful floral, piney, fruity (lychee) aroma. In the mouth itís very fruity (orange and grapefruit), with sweet toffee malt set off against a big, but not overwhelming, hop kick, which lingers. A superb American style IPA, and one of the best Aussie beers out there.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ OzíníNZ tasting 2011. [thanks bluebetty]
Clear dakr golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, fresh fruit, grassy, some strawberries. Medium carbonation, light and pleasant dry mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely dry, bitter, piney, grassy, peach. Nice and elegant beer if a bit simplistic.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Finally got out to the brewery to taste this one as itís been on the cards for a long time now. Was not disappointed at the least.
Produces a viscous, orange gold with a dense, off-white crown that is held in place merely through body rather than carbonation as it is near lifeless inside. Two, maybe three fine beads of carbonation raise hesitantly to the surface. Rolling the beer around the glass produces a clear film on the meniscus. This just looks good for all manner of nasty reasons. Full nose, feint vanilla under a heady weight of ripe fruit. Guava, canteloupe, peaches and pear, a real mixed bag of fruit greets the olfactories as does some pine resin, and biscuity toasted malt. Soft and creamy mouthfeel, very piney and resinous, almost oily. Light woody, salted peanut notes and a lot of perfumy hops to completely backflip the aroma. Fruit is there safe as houses, doughy and tangy but dry, drawing at length. Big bitter raw hop swallow is so, so inviting with it dropping off piney and flowery. Body seems light but the aggressive hopping and balance of malt just gives it the poise of a bigger beer. A median between aggressive and delicate this is bloody good stuff. I wish my local had this on draught as it just screams Sunday sessions in the Summer. Nice one Feral!!! (Draught at the brewery, Baskerville)

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours orange/amber with a small head.
Nose shows loads of citrus fruits: tangerine and kumquat at the forefront. Also shows some lychee and apple. Very summery. Underneath is a fair helping of clean sweet malt.
Flavours are quite different, with very little fruit. Instead the hops contribute piney resin. Once again thereís a lot of sweet malt underneath. The bitterness is quite sharp, not all that pleasant.
Carbonation is a little high.

Was given this as a bday pressie, so thanks! Can pick up the pine and citrus aroma immediately. The taste is quite sweet and malty and not as hoppy for a typical IPA

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a deep golden amber with dense cream coloured head. Hangs around for a while leaving just a little lacing. Not too bad looking. Big resiny / citrus hop aromas on pour. Tend to disappear somewhat as it warms letting some sweet light caramel show through. Good but was probably expecting just a touch more hop character. Flavours are pretty much along the same lines. There is some sweet malt up front followed by resiny hops near the finish. Not as bitter as I would have thought. Mouthfeel is on the thin side. Carbonation is lively. Not too bad.
