Bottle from Beer Cartel. Pours cloudy golden light orange with decent rocky head and lace. Big pine, citrus aromas underlying a sweet grainy malt backbone. Medium-light body, subdued bitterness, but nonetheless there balanced with a generous hop flavour of apricots, citrus and grass. Hops over the top of a pitted fruit malt alongside a light malty grain biscuit character. Hops linger through the finish, but its a flavour matched with a light malt sweetness that lingers. Delicious through to the next sip.

Bottle via maneliquor. Never know how a non-bottle dated IPA is going to be but this one was spot on. Aroma is dankness but not overly cat piss. This is an awesome aroma Iím not sure Iíve come across yet in an IPA. Taste is very crisp with loads of citrus and nectarine in there. Overall, a great IPA that Iíll likely never have again but should be appreciated down under.

Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with some pine and citrus. Taste is also quite hoppy with some pine and citrus fruit. The finish is very dry with a balsy bitterness. Like this one.

This beer pours slightly darker than a typical IPA and has a very refreshing bitterness without overdoing it. The nose is full of hops and has hints of citrus. The bitterness lingers on the back of your tongue, making the taste last longer in your mouth. Overall a very refreshing beer, if youíre a fan of this beer and other IPAs Iíd also recommend sleeping giant IPA.

Bottle 33 cl, Slowbeer. Pours clear amber with a huge off white head leaving lace. Aroma is malty, hoppy, citric, piny, cat bin, fruity and bready. Flavor is fruity, malty, citric, piny, acidy, sweetish, floral and bitter. Loads of hops here. Finishes bitter fruity.

A lovely IPA overall. Lacks a bit of body, but has a nice IPA finish. Lots of grapefruit in the aroma.

Great big hop aroma with plenty of citrus fruits and some piney/resinous characters. One of Australiaís best American style IPAs.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, grass, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and lemons, leading to a bitter. The body is thin.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2012 I have had this beer in the bottle, in a growler/squealer and fresh from the brewery. Nice deep copper colour with an aroma of fresh pine and hops. The taste is grapefruit with grassy undertones plus hints of pine and caramel malt. Over all this is an amazing example of Australia beer a MUST try.

This beer was recommended to me by a booze swilling hobbit of a man. He told me it was a fantastic beer and he isnít one to bandy around such compliments. Unless he is drunk, which he was. Horrifically so. Still, I cracked this beer expecting perfection and boy, I wasnít disappointed. An American style IPA, itís big on the hoppity hops. Yes sir. It is a cloudy gold in colour with a head like a fluffy cloud made of awesome. The nose is all floral, citrus and unicorn musk. My first sip turned into a gulp. This is a beer I could drink a lot of. Itís smooth and fresh and chock full of hops. The hops doesnít dominate though. It sort of sits there in the background like a surly bouncer who has his eye on you because you are flagrantly disregarding the dress code by wearing a hat. He hasnít made a move because the CCTV cameras are rolling but as soon as you go to the toilet, heíll belt you one. Thereís a melon flavour on the front palate with a delicious mild bitter finish. A very refreshing beer. A beer I could easily guzzle litres of on one of those hot days when your gooch is clammy and yearning for relief.
