On tap at Keg & Brew, Sydney on 15th September 2015. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Intense tangerine citrus aroma. Sweet berry fruits and tangerine citrus in-mouth. Citric hops turn grassy in the finish. A zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

This is probably the first rip your face off with the amount of hops they use IPAs I have tried. It is really strong on the aroma & bittering hops. This one I get my friends to try when they have only had generic beer all their life. Whether they like it or not, at least it’s an interesting experience for them!

Bottle (12 months old): hazy, copper with a light head and some lace. Loads of citrus. It’s also a little funky. Lacking the huge hops. Can’t work out the palate. Might be falling apart with age but it looks a little sour and has a dextrose flavor. Now where near as good as a fresh sample. Will taste it on the return to Australia.

L: pours an attractive pale gold with a small white head and lacing. S: smells terrific, big pine and citrus hop notes. T: has a nice malt content, that gives way to a wash of piney hop, some fruit coming through, a balanced and not aggressive. F: super easy to drink, a nice amount of carbonation, lingering hops. O: always good, definitely the best readily available Oz beer.

From bottle in Belgian ale glass. Pine and citrus hop nose and well balanced taste. Quite a smooth and sessionable IPA. First had this on my B-day in the middle of many different beers. Glad to revisit on its own!

5.8%ABV. American IPA. Not much hoppy aroma in the nose, so not strictly an American IPA in character. The palate is assaulted, not unpleasantly or rudely but interesting hop flavors that are spice-like with Parsley and Cloves. Pronounced carbonation with a bitter herb finish that is reminiscent of hyssop. I have to remark on the use of some nicely toasted barley malt that comes through as a nice toasty malty base note. Goes in favorite list.
