3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (12 months old): hazy, copper with a light head and some lace. Loads of citrus. It’s also a little funky. Lacking the huge hops. Can’t work out the palate. Might be falling apart with age but it looks a little sour and has a dextrose flavor.
Now where near as good as a fresh sample. Will taste it on the return to Australia.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
L: pours an attractive pale gold with a small white head and lacing.
S: smells terrific, big pine and citrus hop notes.
T: has a nice malt content, that gives way to a wash of piney hop, some fruit coming through, a balanced and not aggressive.
F: super easy to drink, a nice amount of carbonation, lingering hops.
O: always good, definitely the best readily available Oz beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle in Belgian ale glass. Pine and citrus hop nose and well balanced taste. Quite a smooth and sessionable IPA. First had this on my B-day in the middle of many different beers. Glad to revisit on its own!

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
5.8%ABV. American IPA.
Not much hoppy aroma in the nose, so not strictly an American IPA in character.
The palate is assaulted, not unpleasantly or rudely but interesting hop flavors that are spice-like with Parsley and Cloves.
Pronounced carbonation with a bitter herb finish that is reminiscent of hyssop.
I have to remark on the use of some nicely toasted barley malt that comes through as a nice toasty malty base note.
Goes in favorite list.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From Brewcraft. Clear amber pour. Thin white head with big bubbles. Smells of piney hop, apple juice, little bit of mothball/attic mustiness (not unpleasant or un-fresh). Tastes of resinous hop, sparkling apple juice, slightly sweet and tart. Body is very smooth, bitter, lightly lemony/citric. Like a West Coast-ish IPA + apple juice + citrus. Musty in aroma but crisp, fine and almost sweet in body and palate.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Slightly translucent orange-amber pour. Aroma is fruity citrus with some pine. Taste follows - a bit pinier and hollower than the fruitiness of the aroma. Fine carbonation. Solid IPA - would get again but at $45 a bit steep.
