UPDATED: APR 20, 2012 Had fresh at the brewery today and then a 2L growler on 20.4.12.. Pours deep amber with a pine/pineapple/spice aroma. First sip the rye really shines through with that earthy and spices flavour also with a hit of piney hops, very nice. This beer really showcases the rye well and it also has and amazing hop presence. Seriously feral cant do wrong!!!

Big hop aroma, quite complex. Hints of spicy rye malt character and a little aniseed. A fulling, slick mouthfeel with good supporting bitterness. Good beer.

Clear golden body with a decent head. Lovely aroma of hops which carries through in the taste, hints of aniseed as well with good malt backbone.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2013 Saved this for my 600th rating. On tap at Feral. Absolutely amazing. Superb cloudy, burnt copper pour with a firm white head. Huge pine needles on the nose with the addition of earthy spices and grapefruit. Loads of that pine come through in the taste. Fresh grapefruit and burnt caramel with a rye undertone. Astounding beer and one of my all my time favourites. Wish this came in bottles
