I consider this beer Feralís attempt to win over your average beer drinker who only sticks to the standard lagers you see at every pub in Australia. Iíve rated the beer accordingly.
I tried it out of the tap at the Hop House on Darby Street, Newcastle. Iíd much prefer to drink their Golden Ace or better still their Hop Hog IPA but this is a very subtle easy drinking beer that I would happily drink again. It reminds me a lot of a Stone & Wood Pacific Ale. If you want a lot of flavour you need to look elsewhere.

Tap at the Sail. Pours gold with a short white head. Mild malty and floral aroma, bit of wet cardboard in there. Taste is pretty bland, light german smoked malt hints and minimal flowery hop profile. Taste pretty lager-esque to me, not a huge fan but it has its time and place.

Tap at clancys city beach. Pours a light straw yellow with a small white head. Nose has light floral hops and biscuit malts. Taste has a light citrus and floral hop presence. Very subtle nothing huge in the flavour. Easy to slam down. Decent summer beer

On Tap at The Cottesloe Beach Hotel
A nice easy drinking golden ale, poured a nice golden colour with a slight cloudiness and a tightly packed head. Subtle citrus American hops on the nose with a light malty body. Its nice to drink a unpasteurised style of this beer. Definitely not going to know your head off if a IPA is your favourite beer but a good easy drinking Summer Ale

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2013 Tap at Cottesloe Hotel. Marketed as a Summer Ale - strong bready/yeasty aroma - light bodied - not much flavour - more lager-like - not particularly refreshing - am not convinced by this brew, sorry fellas. Hop Hog would still be my summer ale. Hell, itís my all-year-round ale!... Retasted 31 Oct same place... Really trying to like this... But canít... Aftertaste is too yeasty... Okay on a warm evening but no cigar...
