3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
lovely beer - very cleverly designed by the brewers so that the zesty citrus of the hops links seamlessly with the peachiness of the yeast. there’s nice doughy belgian yeast aromas that mingle nicely with the vanilla of the cascade (im assuming). despite all that hoppiness in the nose the beer is light and fluffy in the mouth, with some maltiness but no malty heaviness, and without a nasty dirty high alpha kick at the end - a tasty combination of
peppery phenols and hop resin to finish. these guys know what theyre doing! reminds me a lot of dieu du ciel derniere volonte - another fruity and aromatic and approachable belgian ipa.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber with a thin slightly tan head. Smell white pepper and citrus on the nose, quite similar to a saison. White pepper translates to taste with spicy floral hops and some light sweet malts. Quite a thick body with a real velvety feel. Beer’s ok, at best.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a cloudy amber colour with a thin head that holds relatively well. A moderate level of carbonation. An odd mix of a Belgian yeast aroma and flavour with a strong hop punch, typical of IPA’s. Belgian candied sugar and spices mix well with an almost citrus flavour peeping through. A warming alcohol mouthfeel to finish. A very complex and delicious brew

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
No BB date noted. Poured a cloudy orange amber colour with a one-finger off-white foamy head that diminished quickly to a few bubbles. Laced poorly. Low to moderate carbonation with small bubbles forming trails. Aroma of spicy floral hops. Taste initially with a subtle sweetness but it’s really dominated by spicy hops. Light to medium body. A bit sweet with a long spicy finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very much the real deal. Spicy malt on the nose is a little reminisce of saison. Carries through to the palate well and hops become more assertive and aggressive. Good length and drive. The spice and pepper is very well handled and quite a highlight.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Hazy copper with a decent, off-white head. Belgian yeast character, berry fruits, caramel and a hint of spice, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy amber with a tight thin head, with perfect lacing.
Amazing Belgium yeast aromas, strong hop presence, spices, straw and a hint of bread.
Thick and chewy, heavy candy sugar and malts, with a slight toast. Hop resins mix nicely with the Belgium style spices, cutting through the sweetness perfectly.
The finish is velvety smooth but a great kick of alcohol and hop bitterness, a killer Belgium IPA.
