On Tap at the feral, This beer as advertised as a low key version of the Hop Hog, however this detracts frm what is a fantastic beer in its own right. The hop profile is all a hop head could ask for but at a sensible gravity that can be enjoed at the begining of the evening. No sense of this beer being the lowly brother (unless you start at the wrong end of the scale).

Well hopped with a dry finish, but wonderful fruity flavours and all-round character.

1L squealer, Pours a very clear pale straw with a sudsy head and a soft doughy biscuit aroma. Slight grassy notes in the flavour as well as the biscuit and lemon notes with a nice bitterness. Has a decent amount of flavour although its nothing to write home about.

Tasted this at the Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in April 2011. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale golden honey in colour with a thin white head. Slight sulphurous note in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a fruity base with lychees, elderflower cordial to the fore. Fragrant hop resins give a bitter note but not overpowering. Reminds me of flowers Original. Finish is slightly on the bitter side with tart citrusy fruit evident in the mouth. An ok session bitter.

Wonderful full hop nose. Tropical fruit platter. Nothing like this in the mouth. Just a very straight forward APA. Thin body with a delicate finish. Disappointing.
