3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bluevegie (2930) - Perth, - FEB 19, 2010
Clear, bright orange gold body with white head, lasting and full. Good hop nose, lively carbonation, not a world of difference from the Hophog but a noticeable difference, the malt (sweet) comes through more. Very drinkable but I do like the Hophog and the Fantapants.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - MAR 12, 2012
Tasted this at the Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in April 2011. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale golden honey in colour with a thin white head. Slight sulphurous note in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a fruity base with lychees, elderflower cordial to the fore. Fragrant hop resins give a bitter note but not overpowering. Reminds me of flowers Original. Finish is slightly on the bitter side with tart citrusy fruit evident in the mouth. An ok session bitter.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maneliquor (1190) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 30, 2011
Tap at Feral. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a small white head. Mild hops and citrus on the nose. Much the same in the taste. Very easy drinking and flavoursome pale. Good brew

Cask Handpump at the Penny Black JDW, Northwich 23/03/2011
Fruit and hop aromas. Small white head. Golden coloured smooth on the palate hoppy slightly pale and a little sweet initially. A hint of bitterness in a dry malt finish.

28th March 2011 JDW Fest. Clear gold beer, bubbly white head. Dry palate. Dry pale malt, whisper of something sulphur. Citra? Really? Where? Dissapointing!
3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jonno (1457) - JAPAN - MAY 7, 2011
Wonderful full hop nose. Tropical fruit platter. Nothing like this in the mouth. Just a very straight forward APA. Thin body with a delicate finish. Disappointing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wheresthepath (1087) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2011
[Cask at Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Lovely floral hop aroma, with tropical fruits. Passion fruit, peach and pineapple in the flavour are delightful at first before being overtaken by green leaves that rather spoil the effect. Good mouthfeel and some tangy bitterness in the finish.
3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DanielBrown (2721) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2011
Hand pulled at the Solomon Cutler, Birmingham. Smells grrrrreat. Thin, malty backbone with an overlay of nice APA hops. Not massive hops - peach infused ones. Pretty good, but dies on the finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2011
Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Pale amber in colour with a thin white head; some tropical fruits in the nose - mango and papaya; more in the mouth, with lychees and peach as well, but ultimately rather thin and boring; with a dry finish. Very disappointing.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 6, 2011
Cask at Bankers Draft (JDW) Bedford, in ’Spoons Beer Festival ’11. Gold with a small white head. Unusual candy sweet aroma. You think it’s citrus, but it’s really lemon scented Harpic toilet cleaner. Gingery taste. Some bitterness. Curious and oddly entertaining, but ultimately it fails.
