Our White Beer is produced in the true Belgian style with 50 percent barley and 50 percent wheat and an imported Belgium yeast strain. The beer is left unfiltered and deliberately cloudy so as to allow the yeast characteristics to dominate. Coriander and orange peel are added during the boil to contribute a spicy citrus flavor. Silver Medal 2003 Australian International Beer Awards.

This was a little dissapointing. Flavour and aroma reminds me of "old fashioned" aussie macrobrews which is a taste i can’t really describe but isn’t too my liking. the "witness" is still there, but i wasexpecting more.

Citrus and grape aroma, cloudy pale yellow, almost no head and crisp fruity flavours. A good refreshing beer.

Taste. taste is mainly that of a light sourness, with not much else except a bit of coriander and bubblegum. Overall. an alright beer, nothing really great about it, but at the something nothing really unpleasent either.

Some grapes on the nose. Not much else other than a bit of yeast. Straw colour. Not much head. Some good lacing. Very watery on the palate. Pretty boring beer but easy to down.

I am not a fan of wheat beers but I can say it this one is very authentic. Took me straight back to when I did some work in southern Bavaria.

Tap at Feral Brewery. Pours golden straw colour with a white head. Aroma is pungent banana, orange and smoky meat. Taste is smoky meat, doughy yeast and banana. Not really a fan of this beer, but they gave it a go.

In a tulip glass on tap at the Local Taphouse 20/3/13. Pours cloudy grey or pale straw colour, with a large white head that quickly sinks. Definite spiced yeasty aroma and a citrus quality - orange and lemon zest. The taste revels the inclusion of coriander in the brewing process, banana, and a bready undertone. It definitely ticks some boxes with regards to the Belgian wit style but the body is on the thin side with a slightly tart finish. Not my favourite style to begin with, it’s a little one dimensional.

Pours a hazy copper color with a fair head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of citrus, banana and spice, with a bit of malt sweetness. Taste of banana, malt sweetness, some spice and bit of grain. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Fairly moderate body, smooth with a decent balance. Nice beer for the style.
