2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 29, 2003
Nose is eggy and sulfuric. Lemony, softly tart sweet start. With a spicy, clovey, lightly fizzy crisp finish. I don't know, it was a touch wishy washy, and definitely sulfuric. Seems like every Aussie micro is doing a witbier these days, trouble is, i'm yet to come across a really good one. This is at least half decent.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mkel07 (1811) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 8, 2009
330ml bottle. Golden and cloudy with a big white head, well carbonated with an aroam of citrus and coriander that has a good sweet balance. Clean and crisp with a good body and mouthfeel with citrus flavours that cling to the tongue and last on the palate.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ALLOVATE (1716) - Butler, WA, AUSTRALIA - NOV 11, 2004
Tasted on Draught at the Guildford Hotel, Guildford. This Ale is brewed without hops and the tangy witbier taste comes through as almost clove-like. Subtle tartness from the citrus coriander mix, and a grainy mouthfeel make this a great beer for the Australian Summer. In the glass, the cloudyness is offset by the very pale body and small tight white head. Not quite a Belgian classic but a good foreign representation of this style
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - MAY 17, 2009
Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium white head. The nose is citrus, spice and notes of yeast. The flavour is malt, citrus and spice. Not a bad attempt at the style and hits the spot for a good drinking wit.
