2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Thylacine (509) - Tasmania, - MAR 13, 2009
Bottle - Slightly cloudy yellow with a thin white head. High carbonation. Sweet, slightly spicy. A lightly bitter, citrus (orange) finish. Quite refreshing but too gassy and a little thin. Needs a bit more umph in the flavour department as well.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sevenlee (375) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2012
Pours a surprisingly golden colour which is darker than you’d expect from a witbier. Aroma is quite yeasty with some orange and coriander. Taste is also quite yeasty with notes of orange and coriander. Pretty nice but they’ve probably overdone the yeast and underdone fruit. Not bad though.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dervock (301) - Emu plains, AUSTRALIA - JAN 6, 2012
Bottle - Pours a hazy yellow, with a big white head. Some banana and clove and coriander, also a slight cardboard aroma. Citrus up front with some fruit also in the finish. Moderately dry up front with a decent finish. Creamy body with a moderate carbonation. Just picked this up randomly and it has way exceeded my expectations!

Tap at Feral. Cloudy orange with a small, billowy white head. Coriander and slight orange on the nose. Balanced and true to the style but wits arent really my thing. Solid

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 crispi (95) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 5, 2011
0.33l - brought from fridge and left to warm up a bit. poured with a a lot of head, but quickly disappears.quite bitter. aroma of bread, citrus, but tainted with earthy basement aromas. quite a bit of sourness in addition to bitterness. Initially I thought this was like Hoegaarden, but on further tasting, it’s really not nice.

Pours pale amber with a small lasting head.
Nose shows coriander, citrus peel and some doughy wheat. Pretty spot on for the style, nice and refreshing.
Same story with the flavours but with more of everything! Really quite nice.
Great med-high carbonation and lightish body.
