I found this to be a pretty unique czech beer. It is sweet, but supremely smooth and drinkable.

draught at Ferdinanda Praha. Clear deep golden colour, creamy white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensive malty background with nice herbal hoppy notes. The house character which I like in their 11° and 12° Bohemian Pilseners is also present.

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2010
(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a big and steady, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and biscuity, slightly bready malty aroma with hints of vanilla and a shy hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. (Cara-)malty taste with notes of biscuits and light herbal and woody hops, sweet malty and slightly hop-bitter finish. Quite pleasant Bock-like brew. 09.VI.10

Lahev (Diky, Quack-Ducku!): Clear, deep golden coloured with a big - slowly collapsing - loose white head; a tinge of vanilla and bisquits in the sweet pale-malty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and soft; shorter, not too hoppy, sweet-bitter finish. Could be even better with a good dash of hops.....

ogreface (1345) - Budapest, HUNGARY - AUG 26, 2011

Bottled, 0.5 l. Clear deep golden colour, big and realtive stabile fine pored white head. Nose of spice and malt. Aroma contains toffee, honey, some dough and distinct herbs. Slick, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Finish is sweetbitter, spicy underpainted gently by alcohol. Really good one.

(Draught at Prague Beer Museum, Prague, 21 July 2013) Golden colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, herbal nose with grass, bread and a touch of honey. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, grass, peaches, a touch of tropical fruit and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite nice.

From 0,5l bottle. Pours nice clear golden liquid, medium white frothy head. Aroma: nice matiness, bread, caramel, saaz hops. Taste: medium sweat, medium bitter, light sour, well balanced, malty and hoppy, Palate: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, long bitter saaz hop finish. Overall: Very good strong pilsener (rather than märzen), very good drinkabilty, quiete well hidden alcohol.

Bottled (backlog, thanks Kim N). Deep golden colour with a small white head, that lasts for a good while. Aroma is bready and caramel malts along with some mild toffeeish notes. Also mild wooden and grassy notes to go along with it. Flavour is quite similar, with also a slight tone of alcohol sweetness to it. More like a richer hopped bock than an oktofest/märzen.
