3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap @ Ferdinanda, Prague.
Pours deep see-through brown. A good, creamy, off-white head on top. Mild sweet aroma with caramel and lightly roasted malts.Okay mouthfeel for the low ABV, powerfully carbonated. Flavour is (very lightly) metallic, good malty sweetnesss, lightly roasted with a fine, chocolate finish that lingers.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Wonderfull smoky aroma, there must be smokemalt in this, creamy fully lasting head, and dark redbrown colour. Wonderfull to look at. It tastes quite average though, short finish that doesn´t add up to the aroma

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at The Pivni Galerie, Prague, 500ml, filtered. Chestnutty colour with white head, a pretty looking beer. Thin beer, but with a certain smokiness and fruitiness, rather plummy. However there is a surose sweetness that dominates the beer and overall it is too thin to be overly interesting.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark brown with a red hue and a nice head. Both aroma and flavour has notes of roasted malt and the flavour also has notes of sweet caramel and a touch of licorice, and it has a light, but nice bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2010 500ml bottle (K CM, Kamppi)
Deep red, brief spongy beige head. Rich grainy aroma, sweet. Really grainy in fact, some huskiness. But also really sweet. Smooth, sweet body, rich roasty and sugary retronasals, carbonation soft. Residual sugars not only high, but I notice there’s saccharin in the ingredients, which I have to penalise them for. Tasty roast, but just too sweet. Drinkable, but leaves me thirstier due to the stickiness! (6:4:6:4:10=3.0)
Rerate: 500ml bottle (K CM, Kamppi)
5+ simple sweet dark lager aroma, tough of roast.
4 dark red, ring head
6 bacony retronasals. Pleasant roasty taste, quite dry in the burntness
3 refreshing palate, carbonation crisp.
12 more burnt and less sweet than the average czech dunkel.
