3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted on tap at the brewpub. It poured a clear orangish-amber color, long-lasting off-white head and lace with tiny real-ale bubbles. True to style: grainy, caramelly, fruity, a bit hoppier than Anchor Steam. One of Fergusonís better brews.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It poured a deep golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of light caramel, a non-offensive touch of corn and a light earthy, herbal hoppiness. The taste was of grain which was added to the flavor and the hops become more herb-like, almost like a heavy tea. The finish is crisp and well balanced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. An almost clear copper golden beer that has a funky looking white head. It split into 4 equal sections. Nice heavy lacing. An aroma of grain, soft malts, light fruit, and gentle hops. The flavor is grains and soft fruit. Malt is heavier than the nose would suggest. It has a slick feel. Citrus hops grow beginning at midglass and bitterness creeps up with it. Yeast is interesting here and is a bit chewy. Three words for this beer would be grainy, fruity, and malty. A nice beer.
