Tap at Blues game. Pour is almost clear deep yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very floral with notes of biscuit malt and a touch of bread. Flavor is also quite floral with hints of sweet malt and a touch of yeast. Maybe a little bit of line in there too. Much better than a same-sized/ same-priced Bud Light.

Sample at beer fest. Poured a hazy orange color with a soapy white head. Aroma was caramel malts, citrus and pines. Flavor was kind of metallic flavors with malts, grass and citrus. Some mild hops in the finish. Decent beer. Nothing to blow your mind but still good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 seymour (786) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Tasted on tap at the brewpub. Appeared a nice amber color with chill haze and fluffy off-white foam, subsided fairly quickly leaving little lace. Aromas of bread, some caramel, lots of flowery, earthy, woodsy hops, thankfully not all grapefruity Cascades. Clearly dry-hopped. I like the idea of a neighborhood brewery using locally grown hops. Solid IPA grainbill, some malt-sweetness made it through all the bitterness. Overall, an above average APA. Good stuff.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 phaleslu (3544) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 9, 2011
Draft sample at St. Louis Microfest 2011. Pours a bright, clear golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops, mild citrus peel, sweet bready malts, and sugar. Flavor of sweet malts, grassy hops, straw, bread, and sugar. Light-bodied, with a sweet mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Not a whole lot interesting going on here but so-so.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Bif (623) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 22, 2011
On tap- Served a copper color with a nice head that fades slowly with some lacing. Has a nice citrus aroma with traces of caramel mixed in. The hint of fresh grain makes it inviting. Taste is a mixture of crisp citrus and caramel sweetness. a touch of bitterness and a quite dry finish round it out. Medium body, quite well balanced. It’s very clean fresh and goes down easy. very enjoyable, solid drinker. Good for a few. Goes good alone or with a meal. Well worth a try.

Tried a sampler and it poured copper with a off-white head. The aroma was very good. Medium smooth body. The flavor was quite dry with good hop traits. The finish is also very good. Not a bad beer.
