Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham during Black Country Bus Tour. Pours deep brown with a modest, lightly foamy beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with tar, more milk chocolate, some burnt malts, dirt. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, lightly roasty with a bit more milk chocolate character. Easygoing and pretty tasty.

Cask at the Wellington, Brum, last cask offering of the RB Black country bus bash in the Midlands (there was one more to follow at the Euston Tap!).
Pitch black with a thin light tan head.

Medium to light in body, a little thin for 5%+.
Ok stuff let down by its body as much as anything.

Tap at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a dark mahogany colour with a thin round off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt leading to a medium bitter, liqourice, malty flavour. I sadly didn’t get the chocolate at all. Back to the drawing board guys!
