Cask Handpump at the Bhurtpore Inn, Aston 01/07/2009 Some fruit aroma. Small beige head. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a little dryness in a bitter malt finish.

Cask, University Arms, Sheffield. Burnt amber colour, raising and ginger aroma. Sweet, a bit overly so, then a long syrupy for finish with more raisin.

Cask handpull at The Royal Oak, Ockbrook, Derby. Very dark brown/black, lasting dark beige head. Caramlelly dark ale. Decent. Not normally my kind of beer, lots of caramel but then dryish choc finish. Leaves good flavour in the mouth of darkish choc.
