Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Pale gold with white head. Thin, light body which carries plenty of flavour in the hops. Biscuity malt, typically Ossett in character then a fragrant, citric, lemony hop, freshly mown grass. A very decent beer indeed.

Cask at FFTMC, Oxford 22-03-08 This was a very good beer but suffered from having been ordered at the same time as the Dark Star Six Hop, lets face it, it was on a hiding to nothing after that. This poured light gold with just a thin film of tiny bubbles masquerading as a head. Nice honey sweetness and hoppiness is there and all underpinned by a lovely malty underbelly. It’s a bit loose in the mouth at times but nonetheless its still a damn decent beer that I just wish I’d have had before the all conquering Dark Star Six Hop.
