No retention at all, not even with a fast vigorous pour and no lacing (obviously). Smells of chocolate, caramel and toffee. Tastes of toffee, nuts and caramel. No aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has a poor nut brown flavour. Sweet on the nose, a little bitter on the intake, and flavour that is far from fully formed.

355 mL Can 5% Fernie Discovery Pack 4 of 4. Clear nut brown pour, can gives it a larger than average head. Aroma is nutty, almond and honey, bitter roasted malts. Taste is light and sweet, with a clean mouthfeel that is quite refreshing, but short of the mark of a great brown ale. This gets distracted and overloaded with sweetness.
