Pours orange amber in color. Average, large bubble head that flattens out. Smells are more on the malt side, toffee, biscuit. Taste is malt forward, toffee sweetness. Transitions into a nice less sweet finish with a slight bitter hop edge. Very drinkable and balanced, just not that exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent brew golden amber color. A balanced ipa with a decent malt background with mild hop bitterness. I’d like a bit more hop bite bit overall not bad

Tap at Calgary International Beer Fest. Pours clear copper with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is herbal and spicy hops, toast and cracker malt, and peach fruity esters. Flavor is toast malt, oxidized (paper), medium hops and bitterness, light fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Lovely creamy head. honey Colour, with moderate carbonation. Lace for days. Mild hoppy nose, citrus tones... excites me, could this be brilliant? Smooth- Malt forward IPA (boo) Lacking the luster of some west coast IPA’s i have grown to love. Finishes bitter, but not the delicate bitter I was expecting. Better than some, but I was expecting more. Stamp of a cats ass... looks can be deceiving.

Very sessionable IPA. Easy drinking. NIce head recedes quickly. Fruity aromas and flavours. West Coast IPA style. Great BC brew!!

Hoppy nose with hints of grapefruit and faint caramel. Golden amber in colour with one inch foamy head. Nice mouthfeel with hints of orange peel. Very good

Pour is pale orange. Good lacing on the glass. Distinct hop aroma and kind of floral. Promanent bitter hops. Balance is tipped heavily toward the hop side. Oily, medium body with very long finish.

Yeah fiulijn has summed up perfectly how I feel about this beer. Definitely an American style but no outstanding hop characteristics other than the usual citrus, no resins, a definite "by the book" IPA that’s not off in any way but has nothing new to offer. Glad I tried it, though.

Bottle to tulip. Pour a nice somewhat hazy amber with half a finger of head, which seems disinclined to dissipate in any hurry. Aroma is of a very nicely hopped IPA; citrus and resin, though it seems to disappear after a few moments. Taste is hoppy as promised, bitter grapefruit, pine, mandarin, a bit of sweet malt on the back end though not enough to really balance it out. Fairly rich mouthfeel, carbonation is excellent and creamy. A pretty good IPA in my opinion, hopheads especially would like it though others who favour a bit more balance might find it too dry. I am one of the latter, but I am enjoying it well enough this once, so I’d say give it a shot no matter what camp you are in.

Aroma is doughy, with citrus hops maybe a hint of pine. Taste is rich amber and caramel malt rounded with grapefruit hops. There’s a bit of orange peel in there, a touch of resin or pine. Nice bitterness to end, hits the tip of the tongue nice. medium bodied. I really like this beer. It is very classic for a IPA, nothing special but still very good. Yum.
