Pours honey brown with thick white head good lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops. Smells sweet. First sip is creamy citrus fruit and very smooth. Very little bitter or booze. Aftertaste is sweet hop juice. Much like hop stoopid Very tastey and very easy to drink. Bravo. Lots of creaminess.

From a bomber shared. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Light citrus nose. Flavors of spruce resin. Relatively thin mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

Draft at the brewery. Gold and bright, love the choices of hop and malt with pale malt and dry bitter hop profile with no estery hop and not a chewy PACNW IPA, it’s actually pale and more British in character, yay! Another that the cans/bottles don’t do it justice.

Darkish gold, not a very expressive nose, touch if berry. Fuller body, more malts than the pale, not a lot of hop character or bitterness, but the malts are actually really nice, with some good honeyish, biscuity character. Points off for not really being an IPA - not even by 1990s standards - but it’s a good beer.

Bottled sample. Gold in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are of pinecone, husky and caramel sweet malts, and a bit of floral hop. Light bodied with a grainy-caramel malt flavor profile. Some vague citrus notes are in play as well, but they’re pretty muted. Chunky bitterness. Not great overall.

Light pale orange body with some off white head and lacing. Tropical fruit and resin aroma. Taste is fruity with some hoppy bitterness in the end. Not a bad IPA.

A clear golden IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with light floral hops, smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, light citrus, nice. Bottle at OttBottleShare July 2014.

A pretty weak IPA. Pours golden with white head and decent lacing. Aromas are weak. A bit of tropical fruit... Flavors are flat and slightly bitter..not that great.

Another nice IPA, Not to bitter. Easy to drink. Nice to have a fairly local brewer doing some good stuff!

Visual: Pours clear maple syrup orange/brown with minimal creamy head, thin layer of retention, some lacing, countless active streams. Nose: sweet malts with a bit of honey and brown sugar (lvl-5)-pungency Attack: sharp-crisp hoppy bittersweetness Mid-palate: cream-fizzy mouthfeel, (lvl-7)-malty sweetness, (MAIN) malts, brown sugar, honey, mild grapefruit Finish: subtle bitter-hopped attack, lingering brown sugar malted hopped finish. Summary: A rather softly hopped IPA and more on the sweet side. Drinkable and enjoyable, although it lacks some character.
