Pours honey brown with thick white head good lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops. Smells sweet. First sip is creamy citrus fruit and very smooth. Very little bitter or booze. Aftertaste is sweet hop juice. Much like hop stoopid Very tastey and very easy to drink. Bravo. Lots of creaminess.

tap - This copper colored beer has an off-white head that laces heavily. The mild aroma is hoppy with some resin notes. The flavor has good bitterness with resin and a touch of citrus. It’s medium bodied and a lingering bitter finish. Good.

Slightly cloudy light orange, good foam. Aroma is subdued (maybe the foam?) What’s there is piney hops. Taste is hop juice, pine, resin. Little tiny bit of malt. Bitter. Okay.

Aroma is a little bit of pine needles and grass. Taste is moderately hoppy but without a tonne of character.

Draft pour at Park Distillery in Banff. Dark orange with white fluffy head. Dank fruits and apricot. Hoppy and bitter. Just ok

Bomber Bottle. Pours a light-medium reddish amber with a thin white head. Very mild spruce like aroma. Medium-low carbonation. Taste is bitter; bittering hops mainly, notes of spruce and grass. Warms to a mild malt slightly sweet taste. Finish is bitter, grass like, some spruce. Would benefit more with more aromatic and flavouring hops. A very basic IPA. Not bad.

Copper pour from the can with a small white head. Nose of caramel malt with a some pine and grass. Flavor is much the same with a solid malt backbone, light hop bitterness.

Can. Golden with honey color. Aroma: citrus and fruity fragrance, a little nectar, sweet. Taste: candy, malt, hop bitterness and fruits, not bad.

Can in B.C.: Underwhelming IPA with some unfortunate flavors. It definitely has a malt-forward / yeasty, British-style slant; but even if it were touted as an English-style IPA, it wouldn’t be a good interpretation. Hops are muted, herbal, earthy and musty. Malts are muddled and clunky. Apple-like fruitiness surfaces here and there. Vegetal bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Appearance was decent (color, clarity, head and lace). Mouthfeel was a bit cloying, but not bothersome. Definitely not my cup of beer.

Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours clear copper with a small white top. Aroma is light caramel malts with earthy pine hops. Taste is a nice swell of pine hops with a nicely balanced caramel malts. Easy drinking, would be in my rotation of regular offerings in my fridge is it was available around me.

Appearance: clear pale amber with three fingers of rocky ivory head, good retention and moderate patchy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: pine, citrus, caramel malt. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate duration bitter finish. (3/5) Fairly standard A/IPA - it’s not bad, but the hops could stand to be brighter. I’d like to try this fresh on tap some time, but in bottles there are better options at similar pricing. (12/20)
