COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our seasonal Pumpkin Brown Ale is brewed with organic pumpkins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and spices to create a deliciously smooth and tasty accompaniment to your favourite seasonal dish. Ingredients: Water, malted barley, hops, yeast, organic pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander, clove, allspice.

Pours a dark brown colour with decent size head which good retention. Aroma is a nice blend of pumpkin and spice ( Cinnamon, Clove, all Spice) and caramel malts. Taste is sweet caramel with a fruity pumpkin and spice. Finishes with a bit of a dry palate.

This brown pumpkin ale is as dark as a moonless night, with a frothy tan head that sticks around. Lotsa spices and pumpkin on the nose, a much more fuller and robust flavor than the other pumpkin seasonals. Not as Lagerboy friendly, but very enjoyable.

Bottle, brought to me by our friends from Fernie. Medium copper, clear, average tan head that never completely disappears. Lovely pumpkin and spice aroma, you can really appreciate the pumpkin here. Flavours are pumpkin, caramel, and spices as promised on the label, with nutmeg dominating the spice profile. Earthy hops lend a mild bitterness. The flavour profile is very nicely balanced with pumpkin at the center without being overly sweet. My main criticism is that it feels a bit thin and a little overcarbonated. Nice effort though.
