355ml can. Lemon yellow colour with haze. White head fades quickly. Light lemony nose. Bready taste, grains, light lemon hints. Light body lively carbonation. Pretty standard but no bad flavors.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 patricks110 (916) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 18, 2011
Bought a can of this at Zyn in Calgary. The pour is a bright golden yellow with a off-white head atop. The finger of head dies pretty quick. The nose is grainy with light grassy hops and a hint of lemon. The taste is grainy and bready with a hint of hop on the finish. Overall, not a bad beer, but not good at all.
2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Powertrip (844) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 3, 2009
Nose is rich with buttered corn on the cob, sea salt and dandelion. Big corn trend with these Fernie beers! Colour is an interesting Sauvignon Blanc hue. Things fade drastically in the mouth. Not much to report other than a tug of war in all directions. Not really bitter, not really rich, not fruity or flowery. One thing it is however is slightly watery. Often these multi-facet profiles can work in sync but not here. Saving grace: nice butter cream finish.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 GregClow (2667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 19, 2008
Sample at Canadian Brewing Awards 2008. Light, clear golden with a small head. Aroma of sweet malt, icing sugar, faint fusel alcohol, slightly sour endnote. Sticky body. Flavour is sweet and cloying with more icing sugar and a faintly hopped finish. Poorly balanced, and just not very good.

A great canned brew to throw into the golf bag. For a canned lager, this is unsurprisingly straightforward with sweet grainy pale malt as it’s sole feature, however it is above macro standards in that it finishes clean and doesn’t become harsh or cloying as it warms above 3 degrees Celsius.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2007
Straw colour with minimal head. Light corny aroma with a little grassy wheat. Thin in body with a touch of sweetness. Pretty boring.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 19, 2007
(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2007 in Victoria on September 8th, 2007. Mildly bread. No hops but weedy. Yuck.

Straw colour. Slightly toasty, grainy nose. Way grainy taste, with slight hop. Fairly quick macrobrew taste. Uninteresting.

I assume this is the same beer. Can of Rocky Mountain Genuine Lager. 5% Can describes a "continental style lager. They were also pouring samples at GCBF. Yellow. Faint white head. Light hop nose with hint of vegetable and sourness that probably should not be there. Drinkable sweetish lager. Has a flavour that resembles the aroma complete with the sweet and sour niblets.
