Cask conditioned handpull at The Bell, Worcester. Decent golden ale, inoffensive some spicy hop on end. OK brewed and served, just a little uninspiring.

[cask] Aroma = old socks and pee. Appearance = almost clear pee with a few large bubbles. Flavour = bitter pee with some black pepper WARNING: Do not drink warm. Significant bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2009
Cask handpull, The Victoria, Rugby. Thinly slicked pale gold. Clean and gentle with light lemony hop, faint watery apple, white wine notes and popcorny softness. Good, but can’t compete with the spiky delights of the house brews. Decent hop bite wrapped up in creamy malt softness to finish. Promising.

Cask, gravity, at Peterborough BF ’08. Gold. Cooked boil-in-the-bag rice aroma. haddonsman accurately compared it to the aroma of a defrosting freezer. Not much else really. Some gentle, watery hops perhaps.
