27th May 2009 Hazy amber beer. Crisp palate, turns a little frothy in the mouth. Sharp carbonated bite delivers a small amount of hop bitterness. Minerally finish and aftertaste. Not bad but nothing interesting.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2009
Cask gravity at The Rake. Hazy copper, bit yeasty. Ugh, not very good. If Dylan Thomas knew this was brewed in his name he’d be spinning in his grave, assumming he wasn’t too drunk. Not a good bitter but with some fruit salad.

Bottle. Poured with a medium head that soon dissipated. Some bitterness and off putting acidity that is never a good sign in a bottled beer. Not too impressed with this one.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 7, 2009
Cask at the Rake Welsh Festival, 1st March 2009. Cloudy light amber with some head. Very strong nutmeg aroma and flavour. Ok palate. The hops work well with the spice, but your enjoyment of this beer will be proportional to how much you like that particular flavour.
