COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full bodied traditional real ale with a strong silky taste of the malted grain. A simple combination of hops creates a bitter sweet taste combination to compliment the distinctive character of this powerful ale. Brewed with Challenger and Fuggles hops. This beer give an immediate bite when first consumed and then draws into a mellow malty flavour.

Bottle conditions, 500ml. Pours a red-brown with a coarse cream-coloured head. Malt and fruit on the nose, more in the palate along with faint plummy notes, bitter hops and an iron metallic taste - is this deliberate or (as seems more likely) poor storage by the retailer?
