Clear light to medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sour malt, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Pigs Ear Festival, Hackney. Amber coloured bitter with a nice crisp palate. Flavour is malty and unremarkable.

bottle either from Bacchus Crickhowell or Tesco Pont-y-pwl. Hazy deep amber-golden colour, fluffy off-white head. Floral aroma with hints of lavender and berries. Malty base with accents of currant and other berries, hints of caramel. Fruity hppy touch in thelingering grassy-bitter finish.

Bottle from Bacchus, Crickhowell. Copper coloured with a short-lived, off-white head. Aroma of earthy malts, with a hint of caramel and some spicy hop. Sweetish, fruity malt flavour, with a decently bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle conditions, 500ml. Pours a red-brown with a coarse cream-coloured head. Malt and fruit on the nose, more in the palate along with faint plummy notes, bitter hops and an iron metallic taste - is this deliberate or (as seems more likely) poor storage by the retailer?

Amber with a lasting off-white head. Weak aroma of fruity malt, and butter. Dry and slightly sour, weak malt flavour

Bottle @ chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of caramel. Fruity malty slighlty yeasty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Has a sweetish fruity malty caramel finish.
