This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Growlette brought home and poured into a nonic. The appearance was a hazy pale orange color with a foamy one finger white head that left some stringy lacing here and there in a messy sort of way. The smell had some citrus with a sweet grassiness and opening up into some light orange/tangerine aromatics. The taste offered a nice blend between the sweet citrus to the bitter rind-like part of the citrus side. Grassiness subsides a bit and bleeds into the aftertaste. There’s a semi-dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable aspect about it. Carbonation feels nice for the style and for me, nothing sharp just enough, and still allowing the bitterness to be the harshness on my tongue. Overall, this was a nicely done IPA that I would have again.

Draft. Gold with a big solid white head. Nice citrus and pine notes with an odd spiciness that kept coming back to me throughout. Almost peppery. Medium crisp mouthfeel. Solid.

Big 1L growler shared by JulienHuxley, thanks a bunch Julien! Pours a hazy golde with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of diesel onion and tropical fruits. Taste is of fruits, cereals, light alcohol and onion again. Moderately bitter. Body and carbonation were average and good for it, I wish it was a little juicier though. Overall a fairly nice IPA but it really pales in comparison to their Second Fiddle.

How: Growler (1 L). Shared by JulienHuxley, thanks! Split 4-ways.

>>> A good IPA with a similar profile to their delicious Second Fiddle but lacking on body a bit.

+ Nice oniony hops in both aroma and forward
+ Malt backbone is good and not too heavy
+ Easy drinking and quenching, thanks to the citrus
Body is a bit light, not watery but borderline

Flavors: Onion, dank hops, fruity/citrusy, piney, mild caramel, mild spiciness

Growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy milky glowing orange with a few sparse white bubbles of foam. Aroma is super fruity, tons of orange juice, nice dank hop, light oniony notes, very similar to the Second Fiddle but a bit fruitier, nice resinous touch as well. Taste is very hoppy, fresh squeezed ornage juice, juicy hop, nice grassiness, very light malt. Palate is light, dry, low carbonation. Very tasty.

Growler. Pours a hazy pale orange color with a frothy white head that leaves behind some lacing as it recedes. Aroma is of citrus hops, orange, tangerine. Taste is similar, though the fruit is way subdued. Moderately bitter. Very well balanced. Medium bodied. Carbonation is a touch soft. Finishes dry. Smooth and extremely easy to drink.
