This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

On tap @ Doc Ponds. Pours lightly hazy golden amber with thick fluffy white head. Aroma sweet caramel malt, big fresh aromatic hops - grass and earthy dark citrus notes stand out. Taste is lightly syrupy caramel malt, juicy dank hops with notes of fresh pine, cedar, bitter grapefruit. Certainly not a typical NE style IPA, but tons of great fresh hop flavor.

Sample at Fiddlehead. The pour is a bright golden yellow with a thin ring of head and a nice lace as it falls. The aroma is bright and hoppy with a lovely bitter resin. It’s a basic IPA, but it’s crisp and clean. The flavor is very similar. There is a great crispness to it. There is a juicy hop to go with a light crispness. The mouth feel is crisp and light with a good carbonation and a lingeringly bitter pine finish. It’s really good for a basic IPA.

Fresh growler to pint (from Fiddlehead). Looks good; a cloudy lemony pineapple with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; lots of fruity hops with a mildly bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly juicy medium-bodied mouthfeel. Some additional bitterness on the tongue as well. A good example of the style.
