COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Very interesting beer. The aroma is deep with peppery piney hops and on the palate the hops are very complex and bitter, however the malt backbone is weak. It’s not out of balance per we, but it needs something more. The hop profile alone earns points.

On tap at Pizza Stone a while back. Just found my note, nice and clearly written. Must have been my first beer. Golden with chill haze flat head and lace. Grapefruity hop aroma. Very mild peach apricot sweetness with medium assertive grapefruit rind and spicy bitterness accentuated by effervescent carbo and dry finish. Medium light body. Excellent.

Tap at mount snow. Clear Amber pour with a big white head. Pine, grapefruit, floral, caramel. Medium body. Very well balanced, and an awesome beer after a day of ski. Very smooth finish with a lot of flavor.

Growler from brewery into a large stemmed tulip glass. Pours a dark hazy, rusted bronze orange. Lacing is medium, plentiful, and soft. Sticks all over, and expands. Aroma is fresh pine, soft cedar, hoppy floral exchanges, and more hops. Taste is piney, hoppy, earthy, fresh, and enjoyable. A most definite example of the style, bitter on the tounge, and in the aftertaste, but the hop presence keeps one content. Vermont beer at its best.

Growler. Pours murky brown with a thin head that dissipates. Nice hop aroma over light carbonation. This is a solid single ipa. Some complexity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft/growler from the brewery. Hazy, light orange. Decent aromatics of citrus and pine. Drinks with a creamsicle appeal, light in body but full in flavor. Yummy. (#5783, 10/9/2014)

16oz sample on tap at Burlington International Airport. The aroma is full of resiny pine. Tons of pine in the nose with a little sweetness present, too. Moderately hazy copper color. Nice creamy off-yellow head present. Starts with a chewy, husky, resinous flavor. Quite a bit of pine and earthy hops come through later on, with a dry, fairly bitter finish. A decent IPA...Really spot on for an East Coast version.

Keg at The Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pale citrus fruits, pale bread, some anise, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with some lightly dried citrus, in particular tangerine and grapefruit, with pale bready malts beneath. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with further pale malt sweetness, low bitterness, nicely juicy and citrusy hops. Very, very well balanced. Solid.

Drank on tap (16 oz) at The Reservoir in Waterbury (VT) on August 20, 2014. Golden honey, small head. Light citrusy hop aroma. The taste is bolder, lightly citrusy, fairly bitter. Simple but enjoyable!
