COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This medium bodied American style IPA has an alluring golden glow and beautifully blends three strains of hops. While strong citrus notes ambush your taste buds halfway through the palate, the beer finishes very crisp and dry.

Very interesting beer. The aroma is deep with peppery piney hops and on the palate the hops are very complex and bitter, however the malt backbone is weak. It’s not out of balance per we, but it needs something more. The hop profile alone earns points.

Sampler at the brewery showing cloudy yellow with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows a moderately intense mix of grapefruit, pineapple, and pine. The palate is gently carbonated and medium bodied. Light flavors of resinous pine ending on a moderately zesty bitterness and juicy grapefruit appearing once again on the linger.

This was the first IPA I have had in quite a while. On tap at a local restaurant. The hops were rich and complex, without any one element standing out or being obtrusive. The mouthfeel was smooth and classy. There was no detection of alcohol, allowing the fresh hops to take center stage. Well made.

On tap @ Fiddlehead. Lightly hazed golden beer with white foam. Pretty nice citrus hop character, peach, and some pine. A light bitterness. Lots of bread and a touch of melon. Mild malt sweetness and biscuit malts. It’s not bad. Pretty basic and easy drinking. Relatively approachable.

On tap @ Doc Ponds. Pours lightly hazy golden amber with thick fluffy white head. Aroma sweet caramel malt, big fresh aromatic hops - grass and earthy dark citrus notes stand out. Taste is lightly syrupy caramel malt, juicy dank hops with notes of fresh pine, cedar, bitter grapefruit. Certainly not a typical NE style IPA, but tons of great fresh hop flavor.
